So the weather here in Mid-MO has been...horrible. Internet went out last night at about 10:30pm, but it came back today around 4pm.
I have been using the day to chill out. Watching 'Spice and Wolf', 'Cabin in the Woods', and 'House of Cards'. I will say this; 'House of Cards' surprised me. I really like it (on episode 11 as I type). Some of it reminds me of Charlie Wilson's War, and some of it reminds me of a caper film.
What have I actively done today? Walked a little bit and:
Ka-Boom!
...is not much and I know it.
I was able to finish my short story. (5.1k words/10 pages so I feel its pretty good). Now tweaking it before sending it to get edited by my peers. That being that it will be given to my friends, who are also big on writing & reading, they have assured me that they will be vicious. I honestly believe it will be better for it.
Finishing up an avatar, and sketching up a few roughs as well.
